Gallop for Gaza is a five-day run, consisting of over 5 marathons back-to-back across the island of Ireland, from Dublin Bay to Galway Bay. My aim is to raise urgent funds for the Palestinian Children Relief Fund and Combatants for Peace, a joint Palestinian-Israeli community made up of former Israeli and Palestinian fighters and activists committed to nonviolent resistance and co-creating a just peace, breaking the cycle of violence. All money donated on this page will go to the Palestine Children Relief Fund. With over 9,000 children estimated to be killed in the seige on Gaza to date, and scores of thousands more injured, hungry and orhpaned, the children of Palestine have paid an unimaginable toll in this conflict. This bombardment represents the highest death rate of children in modern warfare by a significant margin with the median age of the 20,000+ killed in Palestine being 5 years old.
