This campaign is for fans of HYBE groups to donate the money they would have normally spent purchasing albums, merch, or tickets to the PCRF in honor of their idols.
Our goals for the campaign:
1) Get humanitarian aid to Palestinian children
2) Represent our artists' values by being an influence for good
3) Show HYBE how much money they’re losing until they divest from Zionism
Donation message: we highly recommend including the name of the group and/or bias in whose honor you're donating!
If you're unfamiliar with the reason for the boycott of HYBE products, please see this explanation!
In the US industry, about 50-90% of revenue generated by music goes to the record label. Since K-pop contracts are usually as exploitative as possible of the artist, we can assume that at least 90% of the revenue from an album sale goes to the company.
HYBE is using that money to pay off Zionists. They are working their artists into the ground because we keep giving them money to do so, and they don't care about our objections as long as we're still lining their pockets. HYBE exploits our idols because we let them. We have an incredible opportunity to not only help Palestine, but also demand better for our artists and ourselves.
