Hello everyone, I’m running the 2023 Chicago Marathon and raising money to support the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). This will be my second marathon and running for a purpose is always the way to do it!
As a Palestinian-American, I’m excited to support PCRF and the critical services they provide such as mental health care, a pediatric cancer center, a pediatric cardiac surgery program, orphan sponsorship, medical missions, and various humanitarian programs. They provide services throughout the Middle East including Palestine.
This year specifically, we are raising money to help supply and install a Cardiac Catheterization Lab in the “European Gaza Hospital of South Gaza”. Our goal is to improve the care provided for the pediatric and adult cardiac patients and offer them with the optimal care.
For ten straight years, PCRF has received Charity Navigators’ coveted 4-star rating, demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Only 3% of charities evaluated have received this rating.
