According to United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA),  by 2020, Gaza's refugee population will increase from 1.2 million refugees to 1.6 million refugees. The CIA World Factbook estimates that Over 75% of the Gaza strip is made up of refugees. 45% of this population is less than 14 years old, 66% are under 24 years old. Electricity provision will need to double to meet this demand, damage to the coastal aquifer will be irreversible, and hundres of new schools and health services will need to be expended significantly.

PCRF in Housotn intends to play a small role in alleviating the stress on many of the children forced to grow up in this unfortuante situation. No child deserves to have their limitless future compromised from being born into these circumstances. GAZA ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP RAMADAN CAMPAIGN

In the summer of 2014, over 2,000 civilians were killed by air, land and sea assaults on the Gaza Strip, resulting in hundreds of orphaned children. In response to this crisis, the PCRF established a new humanitarian program to ensure that the livelihood of these children are being met. Our team of field workers will ensure that each sponsored child has their specific needs met by providing them food, or other non-political, humanitarian aid.
