Dr. Zuabi was born in 1956 in Nazareth, Palestine. The son of Ali Zuabi and Inam Zuabi, he is the oldest of seven brothers and sisters. From a large and close-knit family, he always emphasized the importance of community, generosity, and integrity. Outside of his role as a physician, Shawki never hesitated to serve his community and care for others.
In honor of his life and in lieu of flowers, the Zuabi family is encouraging donations to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). The PCRF is a grassroots organisation providing free medical care to sick and injured children throughout the Levant.
