The Columbus Crew have officially unveiled their newest #9, and it’s time for fans to give Wessam Abou Ali a MASSIVE welcome to central Ohio. The Crew are the hardest-working team in MLS, and this is our chance to show Wessam that we’re just as massive off the pitch as we are on it.

Wessam, a Danish national of Palestinian descent, plays for the Palestine national team and joins us from Egypt’s Al Ahly, where he made history by scoring the first perfect hat-trick in an intercontinental club tournament, and the first hat-trick by an Asian player in a FIFA club competition. He will be feeling the pressure as we begin our push toward the playoffs. Let’s make Columbus his home and show him we’re with him every step of the way on the road to the Cup.
