To all the people I told I'd never run a marathon for any reason, I lied. I found a good reason.
This is my fundraising page for the 2019 Chicago Marathon. I'll be running with Team Palestine for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) for their 10 year anniversary. PCRF was founded in 1991 as a way to help address the medical needs of Arab children in the Middle East. We are a non-political, non-religious humanitarian relief organization with the goal to provide medical attention and treatment to the children of Palestine and other countries throughout the Levant while also improving the fundamental defects in Palestinian health services.
In 2018, thanks to money raised through the 42 PCRF chapters around the world, 83 medical missions took place and 20 children were sent abroad to receive the medical attention they needed. The money also helps support different projects with the PCRF including a pediatric cancer center in Gaza and a pediatric ICU in Ramallah.
The PCRF is a 501(c)3 tax exempt charity and has no affiliation with religion or politics. Help me support the kids of the PCRF.
