Our grandson Zeke lives with  limited mobility as a result of  GNA01, a rare birth disorder.   Although there are many devices available here in the USA for children with disabilities, his parents still face some obstacles in obtaining the necessary assistive devices for him.  Their frustrations range from limited suppliers to very high costs to insurance companies that deny benefits for necessities.  Zeke's bravery and persistence in overcoming his disabilities sparked our desire to honor him by helping children living with the loss of  limbs.   Raising funds for the PCRF's Gaza Amputee Rehabilitation and Treatment progam will allow us to reach this goal.

Gaza now has the highest number of child amputees per capita in the world and these children have extreme difficulties in obtaining the necessary care they need.  In addition to their physical loss,  they have the psychological trauma from the horrors of  war to deal with.  The obstacles that we face pale in comparsion.

This initiative offers medical care, new prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, mental health support, social services, and caregiver training.
