Dear friends,

As part of my 51st birthday this year, I ask you all to extend the good wishes and love that you have shown me to the children of Syria, who need love and hope more than ever. PCRF is the pre-eminent organization working in war-torn areas of the middle east. In this campaign we are helping Syrian children get urgent medical care. These children are from poor families, and many have been forced to flee their homes. It might take a lot to stop the war but it doesn't take as much to heal the immediate wounds these chidren are suffering from. And in doing so, we lay the ground work for a more compassionate repsonse to the suffering in Syria, and rediscover our power to change lives, in whatever way we can.  Any amount you can give to reach or exceed the modest goal of $5,000 will help these children know that they are loved. I love you all. 

Over the past few years, over 100,000 civilians have been killed in Syria, many of them innocent children.  Many more have been injured and required specialized medical care that they cannot get in their war-torn country.  The PCRF has launched a special campaign to identify these children and get them the medical care that they need to recover from their injuries.  The PCRF is working to help any child in the Middle East, regardless of nationality or religion, get the best care possible, and hope that you can support this campaign to heal the lives of these poor children.
