My #Promise4Syria is to ensure that their needs are not forgotten.
When I was a little girl, I would often ask why we fast during Ramadan. The responses were always different, but the one that stuck out was to ’feel for those less fortunate’ as it did not make sense when we would break fast with a feast every night. That is why my #Promise4Syria is not only to feel, but to do by giving back to the PCRF’s Syrian Children Relief Project that provides humanitarian and medical aid to Syrian refugees. Let’s remember to give back those in need.
Over the past few years, over 100,000 civilians have been killed in Syria, many of them innocent children. Many more have been injured and required specialized medical care that they cannot get in their war-torn country. The PCRF has launched a special campaign to identify these children and get them the medical care that they need to recover from their injuries. The PCRF is working to help any child in the Middle East, regardless of nationality or religion, get the best care possible, and hope that you can support this campaign to heal the lives of these poor children.
