Dear family and friends,

This year, we have decided to donate Esma's birthday gifts to charity. It is never too early to teach children the importance of charity. Although Esma is too young to make the decision to donate her birthday gifts, we hope that teaching her these core values, at this age, will resonate throughout her life. 

If you were planning on giving Esma a birthday gift, please consider donating to the Syrian Children's Relief Project, which is designed to identify and help refugee children from the conflict in Syria. These children are in dire need of help, and any little amount helps.

We are fortunate enough to be able to provide Esma with MORE than enough food, clothing, and toys...things that these children can only dream of.

Over the past few years, over 100,000 civilians have been killed in Syria, many of them innocent children.  Many more have been injured and required specialized medical care that they cannot get in their war-torn country.  The PCRF has launched a special campaign to identify these children and get them the medical care that they need to recover from their injuries.  The PCRF is working to help any child in the Middle East, regardless of nationality or religion, get the best care possible, and hope that you can support this campaign to heal the lives of these poor children.
