Hello everyone! We are running the 2023 Chicago Marathon and raising money to support the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. This will be the first marathon for both of us.
We are excited to support PCRF and the critical services they provide such as mental health care, a pediatric cancer center, a pediatric cardiac surgery program, orphan sponsorship, medical missions, and various humanitarian programs. They provide services throughout the Middle East including Palestine. Reem and her family visited one of PCRF's projects in 2016. They toured the first public pediatric cancer center in Palestine - the Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department - in Beit Jala Hospital near Bethlehem in the West Bank.
For ten straight years, they have received Charity Navigators’ coveted 4-star rating, demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Only 3% of charities evaluated have received this rating.
