Salam/hello friends! I'm excited to commit to the 2023 Chicago Marathon (my first!) as part of Team Palestine for PCRF. Palestine Children's Relief Fund is an organization dedicated to providing medical care to children in occupied Palestinian territories. Donors have helped build medical facilities in Palestine, bring volunteer teams to provide vital care to patients, and sponsored travel/medical bills for Palestinian children to receive necessary care in the US that they would be unable to acquire locally. I've personally volunteered with PCRF at my local chapter and was able to get a first hand look at the impactful work they are doing. I'm grateful for the opportunity to run this race and even if you're unable to support financially, I'd love any tips, words of wisdom, and prayers to get me through the finish line!
