Hello friends, family, and all!

My name is Aysha, and this year my sister Amira and I are taking on something new. On June 1st, we’ll be running our first Bank of America Chicago 13.1 Half Marathon—not just for ourselves, but for Gaza.

We’ve chosen to dedicate our race to the people of Gaza by fundraising for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF)—an organization we hold close to our hearts and one that has continued time and time again to show-up for our people by providing critical care.

There are many ways to show up for the things you care about & this run is our way—a segway for us to amplify stories and raise awareness while challenging our bodies past it's limits.

Every step we take is for every day our people have lived without peace.
Every drop of sweat is for every innocent life taken.
& every mile is an act of solidarity with the people of Gaza.

We ask that you help us reach our targeted goal by sharing our fundraiser & donating what you can, no matter how small. Your donation helps fund surgeries, treatments, and medical plans for the people of Gaza. Although this run is a challenge, our reason for running is much greater.

Our "Gaza Relief and Recovery" campaign aims to address urgent humanitarian needs and support long-term recovery efforts in Gaza. The funds raised will primarily focus on immediate relief, including providing essential medical supplies, food, medical treatment, clean water, and other necessities for families affected by the conflict. Additionally, our campaign will support rebuilding healthcare facilities and providing long-term support through impactful programs and projects to support the needs of children and the health sector in Gaza. It will also allocate resources towards trauma counseling, mental health support, and other initiatives for children affected by the conflict, aiming to foster healing and resilience within the community.
