Salam everyone,
I’m sure most, if not all, of you are aware of the tragedies that are happening around the world right now. One that particularly strikes me is what is continually happening in Palestine. It is heartbreaking seeing children left with nothing and trapped in their condition by the military. Not only have these innocent children been killed by the hundreds, but the ones who survive need help, both physically and emotionally. I really feel the need to do something to help them. It is part of what makes us human to have compassion for others and do what we can to bring comfort to those who need it most. I decided to do something that I and many of us enjoy in order to help raise awareness and funds for this cause. I'm carrying on the tradition of #hoop4palestine hosted by Amir Hossain. It would be incredible if you all could help out and support this cause by coming to this basketball tournament I’m hosting. The funds will be directed to PCRF(Palestine Children's Relief Fund), for the purpose of providing essential needs to the children of Palestine. No better time to get rewarded than this holy month of Ramadan.
