I am so happy to announce I will be fulfilling a lifelong goal of mine of running a marathon. I could not be more happy to run it with Team Palestine.
 
I love the feeling that running gives me and the mental clarity it provides. But there’s no doubt I do not find running long distances painful and challenging. But it has been the discipline of this sport that has helped me deal with my broken heart from this genocide.
 
When my family was forced out of their homes, they left with nothing but their children. My aunt held her baby and walked from our village in Palestine all the way to the Jordan border to safety. They had to rebuild their lives in a new country. She walked roughly 50 miles, equating almost two marathons while, carrying her baby the entire time.
 
I dedicate these 26.2 miles to my family, who did more than a marathon to find safety, to the Palestinian athletes that have been taken from us, and to the strength of Gazans who fight for their lives every day.

The genocide has left us heartbroken for our home, especially Gaza. Through this fundraiser we can help. I would be so grateful to accept any donations big or small to help me reach my fundraising goal.
