Alhamdulillah, I am honored to run the Chicago Marathon this year. Every mile I run carries extra meaning—each step is dedicated to the children of Palestine who are facing unimaginable challenges.

Why This Matters
Palestinian children continue to face extraordinary hardships—limited access to healthcare, education disruptions, and the psychological impact of ongoing conflict. Through the respected work of the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), we have an opportunity to make a real difference in their lives.

About PCRF
The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund is a non-political, non-profit organization that delivers critical medical and humanitarian relief to Arab children throughout the Middle East, regardless of their nationality, religion, or ethnicity. For decades, they have:
    •    Provided urgent medical care to injured and sick children
    •    Built pediatric medical facilities
    •    Trained local doctors and nurses
    •    Delivered humanitarian aid to families in crisis

My Personal Commitment
Training for a marathon requires dedication, early mornings, and pushing through physical barriers. I commit to this challenge knowing that it pales in comparison to what these children face daily. Your support will motivate me through every training run and each of the 26.2 miles on race day.

Together, we can transform pain into possibility and hardship into hope.
