**Support the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) through the Chicago Marathon!**

After 200 days of the attack on Gaza, I made a personal commitment to run every single day for Gaza until a ceasefire is achieved. I have not missed a day since and will continue this journey until there is a ceasefire. I give back to my community a dollar per mile and will continue to do so.

Last year, on October 8, I took my first step in my very first marathon—the Chicago Marathon. It was also the day the aggression in Gaza began. While excitement filled the air, fear and worry for my family back home weighed heavily on my heart. But I ran, and I crossed the finish line. On my arm, I wrote words of gratitude for every mile I took, with Gaza and its people occupying half of my sleeve.

This year, for the second time, I am participating in the Chicago Marathon to raise funds for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF). This incredible non-profit organization is dedicated to providing essential medical care and assistance to children throughout Gaza.

With over three decades of experience, PCRF has established itself as a trustworthy provider of life-saving medical services. They have arranged free medical treatment for thousands of sick and injured children and mobilized volunteer medical teams from around the world to help tens of thousands of young patients in local hospitals. PCRF has also established two pediatric cancer departments in Palestine and is actively working on various projects to build a sustainable healthcare system in the region.

Since October 2023, PCRF has continued its vital work in the Gaza Strip, delivering urgent aid through initiatives including:

- The creation of two field hospitals—one in Southern Gaza and the other in Central Gaza.
- The evacuation and coordination of medical treatment for nearly 100 children and their families in countries such as the United States, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Qatar.
- The distribution of over 1 metric ton of fruits and vegetables to local families.
- The provision of baby formula and gallons of clean water to those in need.
- The distribution of hearing aids and sensory equipment to children.
