This summer, the PCRF is sponsoring three summer camps in the north, center, and south of the besieged Gaza Strip to help provide social, educational and cultural experiences to children who are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). These camps are sponsored by the PCRF and in cooperation with the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM), an American nonprofit who are helping to provide coping mechanisms and support for children who have been traumatized by war, occupation, poverty and siege. These camps include a number of different daily therapies and sessions, as well as fun activities to enable our children to remember that even living in Gaza, they are still kids and deserve a childhood.
