The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) has dedicated its 2018 Ramadan fundraising campaign to the Treatment Abroad Program, a humanitarian initiative through which PCRF sends sick and injured children from all over the Middle East abroad for free medical care otherwise not available to them in their country. Since 1992, nearly 2,000 children received care through the Treatment Abroad Program.  For 25 years, PCRF has been the main nonprofit in the world arranging free medical care for sick and injured children from the Middle East, based on their medical or humanitarian needs regardless of politics or religion.  The goal of Heal A Child: Treatment Abroad Program Ramadan fundraising campaign is to ensure that the program is sustainable for years to come, and to continue to arrange life-changing free medical care for children who are most affected and are in need like Rawan from Iraq who was treated in India, Thaer from Gaza who was treated in Oregan, and Mustafa from Syria who was treated in Texas.   

As we watch the tragic events taking place in Syria and in Gaza unfold on our TV screens, thousands of Syrians and Gazans are injured daily by bullets and bombs, many of them are children who will need to go outside of their homeland to seek medical care. The ongoing crises in Palestine and in Syria coupled with the underdeveloped health care services all over the region have left hundreds of children in need of medical care.  PCRF needs your generous support to help heal them.

The PCRF was founded in 1992 as the main organization sending sick and injured Arab children abroad for free care that they cannot get in their homeland.  Since then, nearly 2,000 children have traveled to the USA, Europe, and parts of the Middle East and Asia for free medical care that they do not have access to in their country.  We remain the main organization in the world helping to treat these children regardless of their nationality or religion, but we need your help.  The month of Ramadan is a special time, but for those children who are in need of specialized medical care they cannot get at home, your help is required.  We are seeking your tax-exempt donation to help support the cost of bringing kids for free care to the USA, covering only their plane tickets, visas, and transportation, so we can arrange free care worth tens of thousands of dollars.
