5-year-old Sara is a refugee from the Jabalia Camp in northern Gaza. This little girl suffers from an orbital benign mass which started as a small lump near her forehead at the time of her birth has since grown to now cover most her eye and surrounding area. Her family of six are without the economic means to send Sara outside of Gaza for the care that she needs, as the father is unemployed and the aid that they also get as refugees is being cut. In 2017 Sara traveled for debulking surgery and now needs to return for a second operation that costs $9,000. Unfortunately, the treatment cannot be provided for free, so Sara will be cared for near Jerusalem.

The runners (Nader, Rush, Ash, Colin, Ali, Reem, Julian, and Abe), need your help to raise the funds need to cover the cost of Sara's surgery in a 48 hour period . They have such passion and dedication to serve the children of the Middle East, that they are starting a 120 mile trail relay in Wausau, WI on 9/21 and ending on 9/22 . They plan to run in all kinds of weather, in honor of little Sara and raising funds for her to get the surgery she desperately needs.

The PCRF was founded in 1992 as the main organization sending sick and injured Arab children abroad for free care that they cannot get in their homeland. Since then, nearly 2,000 children have traveled to the USA, Europe, and parts of the Middle East and Asia for free medical care that they do not have access to in their country. We remain the main organization in the world helping to treat these children regardless of their nationality or religion, but we need your help. The month of Ramadan is a special time, but for those children who are in need of specialized medical care they cannot get at home, your help is required. We are seeking your tax-exempt donation to help support the cost of bringing kids for free care to the USA, covering only their plane tickets, visas, and transportation, so we can arrange free care worth tens of thousands of dollars.
