Children in Gaza do not have access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, shelter, and healthcare. According to the UN, daily food intake in Gaza "has fallen well below 'survival' level." Almost 1 million children in Gaza (over 93% of all Gaza's children) are at critical risk of famine. Infectious diseases are spreading rapidly - due to unhygienic conditions, lack of clean water, and shortage of hygienic products such as soap - and many children do not have access to healthcare due to the destruction of hospitals by the Israeli army. UNICEF states, "The Gaza Strip now has the highest number of child amputees per capita anywhere in the world,” and that at least 25% of these children require major rehabilitation. 9 out of 10 children in Gaza suffer from PTSD. A recent study conducted by CTCCM found that many children exhibit signs of severe anxiety, hopelessness, etc. and that "96% of children feel death is imminent." No child deserves to go through this. So join us in supporting Gaza's children. Every donation makes a difference.
