Roses of Humanity is a message of peace and love in the form of an art installation featuring well over 15,000 handmade fabric roses made by women artisans in Pakistan, each rose repesenting a child killed in Gaza. It is a dedication to, and in remembrance of, the children of Gaza who have lost their lives since 7th October 2023. It is to remind us to connect to our humanity as we are all one and the same. The installation has the name and age of each child written on a tag wrapped around every stem. Originally 15,000 fabric roses were made and displayed in May 2025 to reflect the figure given by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on the total number of children dead as of June 2024. Sadly, this figure is much higher as of today and so we have been making additional roses and planting them into the installation and aim to make a total of 20,000 which reflects the official figures as of today. The installation is to travel to many cities around the world to spread this message of humanity.
Roses of Humanity looks to help raise funds to provide prosthetic limbs for those children who have had their limbs amputated. Each rose can be sponsored to raise funds for child amputees in Gaza via PCRF's Gaza Amputee Project. It is to remind us of hope, that all is not lost, children who have departed can still live on and help their brothers and sisters to gain a new lease of life which will ease their suffering
We invite members of the public, from all over the world, to sponsor a rose for USD100 or any other amount (all donations are welcomed) nd make their donation to the Gaza Amputee Project being run by Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). Those funds will be used to provide prosthetic limbs to children who have undergone an amputation. UNRWA stated in May 2025 that roughly 10 children a day lose a limb in Gaza. If each rose is sponsored for USD100 our maximum target to raise is USD 1,500,000. The cost of a prosthetic limb can range from USD 1000-1800 approximately depending on which part of the body it is for. On that basis the Project could give a new lease of life to almost 850-1500 children in Gaza.

Labour & Love - Labour & Love is a social enterprise that trains women in and around Lahore in handicraft skills, employing them to make a range of unique contemporary items so they can earn a living. Women are paid a fair wage so as not to exploit them.
Fundraisers BBS - The Fundraiser’s “Bargain Basement Sale” (“BBS”) is a platform for the retail industry to give back via the annual BBS sale which featuresitems donated by over 200 leading brands in Pakistan, which are sold at discount with 100% proceeds going to charity. BBS has teamed up with Labour & Love and will donate leftover clothing to be recycled into fabric roses by the women at Labour & Love.
