Since the latest aid blockade was imposed in Gaza on March 3, 2025, the World Health Organization estimates that at least 57 babies and children have died of starvation. That estimate was given on May 13, so we know the number continues to climb, and it adds to the unimaginable total of more than 17,400 children killed since the start of the conflict.

My own child has recently turned one. As a mother, I see her in the faces of every child in our news and social media feeds. Each and every one of them deserves the safety, medical care, nourishment, and love that my daughter has had. Each child is someone's universe, as she is mine.

My hero, Ms. Rachel, has been working with the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund to bring desperately needed relief to children experiencing immeasurable harm in this crisis. I would like to invite my friends, loved ones, and acquaintances to donate with me to PCRF and I will aim to match any funds raised up to $500. 

Our "Gaza Relief and Recovery" campaign aims to address urgent humanitarian needs and support long-term recovery efforts in Gaza. The funds raised will primarily focus on immediate relief, including providing essential medical supplies, food, medical treatment, clean water, and other necessities for families affected by the conflict. Additionally, our campaign will support rebuilding healthcare facilities and providing long-term support through impactful programs and projects to support the needs of children and the health sector in Gaza. It will also allocate resources towards trauma counseling, mental health support, and other initiatives for children affected by the conflict, aiming to foster healing and resilience within the community.
